Nasarawa Amazon Fully Prepared This Season – Chairperson

The Chair Person of Nasarawa Amazon Football Club, Hajiya Hussaina Suleiman Nagogo has said that the club is fully prepared for this year’s female league.
Hussaina who made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with NewVision sport in her office Monday also said the club with the support of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa state would clinch this year’s female league in the country.
While Commending Governor Abdullahi A. Sule for his unwavering support to the club throughout last year, she further explained that the support of the club by the Governor would ginger the team to achieve more this football season.
She said because of the unflinching support of the governor, the club came second in this year’s President Nigeria Federation Cup in Lagos.
She said the governor was personally in attendance during the match, also donated a bus and other incentives to the players and officials.
She said the rewards were very encouraging to the players and officials.
“As part of appreciation to our governor we are bringing new players this season to appreciate what the Governor’s support to club by bringing the League and the Federation Cup to the state.
On the challenges facing the club, the Chairperson Nasarawa Amazon said although Nasarawa state is not as rich as some oil states, Governor Sule is doing his best to ensure that the club succeeds in all the competitions in the country.
According to her, “out of three players picked from local league, two were picked from Nasarawa Amazon, and out of35 players currently on camp for the world cup, six players were invited from the Amazon.
She said the club would continue to do more not only to make the governor happy, but also to make the entire state and the country happy.
While Commending the players and the technical crew for a job well-done, she pledged to maintain the tempo, and called on the supporters and the entire people of the state to continue to support the club to enable them succeed on the challenges ahead.
