Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Nasarawa State Chapter, Compt. Joseph Attah (Rtd.), Mukhtar Wakeel (Makaman Wamba) Vice Chairman of the Chapter alongside Director-General, Strategic Communication and Events Management to Governor Abdullahi Sule, Yakubu Lamai warmly received the national delegation of the NIPR led by Prof. Emmanuel Dandaura, Vice President of the Institute.
Still, in the entourage were Prof. Okey Ikechukwu, ace broadcaster, Muhammad Kudu Abubakar and veteran filmmaker, Sam Duru among other professional colleagues.
The visit to Lafia, Nasarawa State by the NIPR entourage was consciously to inspect the rumoured collapse Lafia flyover and underpass commissioned by President Bola Tinubu a month ago and to present a national view on the damaging impact of the fake news being speculated in different sections of the media.
